Two student athletes signed their letters of intent!
Juliet Moore (soccer) signed with Mississippi State University and Aidan McLachlan (golf) signed with Loyola University New Orleans on Wednesday, November 11.
Juliet has been playing soccer for 14 years. As a midfield and forward, she enjoys the team aspect of soccer and how everyone works together to achieve the same goal.
A favorite quote to play by? "Play Hard, Play Smart, Play Together."
"This was my team philosophy growing up that propelled my team and me to many successes, including two National Championships," she said.
She's very grateful for Ursuline, Soccer Coach Darrin Hedges, and her teammates for helping her to get to where she is today and looks forward to her new adventure at MSU.
"I'm excited to be a part of a team that is being rebuilt by new coaches," she said. "I'm also looking forward to playing with fellow Ursuline graduate, Alyssa D'Aloise '18."
Juliet will study Nursing.
Aidan picked up her first golf club at the young age of six and has been playing competitively since she was nine.
What does she enjoy most about the sport? Being outdoors.
"The fresh air and enjoying calm nature while playing a competitive game where you are using your mind constantly is my favorite part about golf," she said.
Aidan is thankful for her Ursuline golf experience.
"It has truly impacted me and taught me about friendship, work ethic, and community," she said. "I love my teammates and would not trade our memories for anything."
She is thrilled to continue her golf career into college and looks forward to playing competitively for four more years.
Aidan will study International Business.
