Cross Country
The UAXC Running Bears headed south to Lakeview Retreat Center on Saturday, August 24, to attend the Waxahachie Woodhouse Invitational, placing first in both the Varsity and Junior Varsity 3200m divisions for the second meet in a row.
Sophomores Amanda Hogan and Katherine Reynolds placed first and second overall, respectively, in the Varsity race. The Varsity team won with 29 points, and the Junior Varsity team won with 25 points.
Sixty-three Running Bears ran the 3200m course, and 41 girls scored new PR (personal record) times for the distance.

Volleyball
The Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity VolleyBEARS defeated the Nolan Catholic High School Lady Vikings on Tuesday, August 27.
Freshmen and Junior Varsity won in 2 games, and Varsity won in 3 games. Way to go, Bears!
