Golf

The Golfing Bears finished 5th place in their tournament at Brookhaven on Sunday, February 23. They showed great sportsmanship by being the only team outside of the Top 3 finishers who stayed to cheer for and congratulate the winning teams. 

Lacrosse

At their first home game of the season on Tuesday, February 25, the Varsity Lacrosse Bears defeated Grapevine 14-7. 

Softball

Varsity Softball Bears defeated Hockaday 6-0 on Tuesday, February 25. They tallied 7 hits from 7 different players, including a triple from Kate Nolan '22, a triple from Maddie Claybrook '20, and a home run from Nicole Clements '20. 

Tennis

Tennis Bears defeated ESD 5-1 on Monday, February 24. They won both line 1 & 2 singles, and line 2, 3, and 4 doubles. 

On Tuesday, February 25, the Tennis Bears also defeated Prestonwood 6-0, moving them to 1-0 in District and 3-0 overall. 

Track & Field

On Saturday, February 22, the Track & Field Bears placed 4th as a team in both Varsity and JV Divisions at the Rick Pinson Invitational Meet. 

• Double-digit Varsity point earners: Amanda Hogan '22 (20 points), Devon Vopni '21 (17 points), and Gabrielle Rauker '20 (10 points). Additionally, Amanda Hogan’s time in the 1600m and Devon Vopni’s time in the 800m were both new meet AND facility records!
• Double-digit JV point earners: Anna Fent '21 (20 points), Tori Wasinger '22 (13 points), Caroline Cohen '22 (12 points), and Grace Geiser '23 (10 points).
