Cross Country

The UA Cross Country Running Bears won both Varsity and JV Divisions at the Falcon/Friar Invite at Audubon Park in Garland on Saturday, October 10.

The Varsity Bears were led by individual champion, Amanda Hogan '22, followed by Devon Vopni '21, Katherine Reynolds '22 in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Zoe Smith '23 was next across the line for the Bears, followed closely by Anna Fent '21, and Tess Corrales '24 and Kate Thornton '24. Emma Smith '22, Gabriela Rodriguez '23, and Eva Montenegro '21 also finished fiercely for the Varsity Bears.

The Junior Varsity Running Bears had the first 16 finishers across the line, and 19 of the top 20!

Pre-District Meet:

• Womens Races 8:00 a.m. - 2 Miles Varsity Girls
• 9:00 a.m. - 2 Miles JV Girls

Volleyball

The VolleyBears are currently 6-5 and will take on JPII tonight, October 15, in hopes for another district win.

• Freshman plays at 5:00 p.m.
• Varsity plays at 6:30 p.m.
