Bowling coaches (and Ursuline teachers) Sarah Kennedy and Gabi Merani are excited for Ursuline’s first ever bowling team season!

Coach Kennedy comes from a long line of family coaches and is prepared to help players improve their skill level.

“I think there’s a lot to learn!” she said. “Over the summer, Coach Merani and I spent a lot of time learning the sport and realized there’s a whole bowling community out there that we didn’t know about before.”

Coach Merani, who was on a bowling team for fun after college, tries to go to the bowling alley every Sunday to practice.

“I look forward to seeing our players progress,” she said. “There’s even college bowling scholarships out there and I would love our players to learn more about that opportunity.”

Bowling tryouts will take place the first week of October (keep an eye out the athletics tryouts webpage for exact dates and times) and the first match will take place on November 2.
