Hello Parents and Guardians,
What an exciting time of year! We have much to celebrate and be thankful for over this past year. We had outstanding performances from teams and individuals in various programs. Our track and golf teams are headed to State this weekend, our seniors are in the home stretch before they head off to their next chapter, and we excitedly await to welcome a whole new freshman class to our community.
My first year at Ursuline has been amazing in so many ways. It's been wonderful getting to know and understand more about the community, specifically the students and families. As I come to understand more and more about our Ursuline girls, I am excited by the opportunity and challenge to find the best ways to support and help them grow on their own personal journey through the lens of athletics and wellness.
A bulk of our behind the scenes work in Athletics this year was building out a framework, both logistical and philosophical in nature, to guide our department over the years to come. Below is a link to our new Athletic Handbook, which will hopefully become a helpful tool for parents and students. The handbook not only aims to explain our processes and expectations, but also outlines some of our bigger goals on how to help build character through athletics.

Lastly, ensure your daughters take time to relax and recharge this summer. We ask a lot of our student-athletes throughout the school year, and appreciate the commitment they make to both their academics and athletic programs. The summer is the perfect time for them to take time away- from Ursuline and from the sports they love. After all, "absence makes the heart grow fonder." We look forward to a restful summer and another exciting and challenging year ahead!
Go Bears!
