
Performing Arts
Ursuline offers a dynamic curriculum in Performing Arts, with students presenting more than two-dozen live performances each year.
Performances Across Disciplines
Ursuline Academy offers a variety of classes in Music, Dance, and Theatre.
Music includes the three disciplines of Choir, Orchestra, and Band. Dance offers classes covering Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary; with concentrated classes in Hip-Hop and Tap. Theatre produces a Fall Play, Spring Musical, and a student produced Spring Play. Additionally, theatre classes include a variety of Performance and Technical Theatre classes.
Fostering the Ursuline Mission
Students address Ursuline’s mission with the development of the individual and building community. By working in a creative, cooperative environment, students foster the importance of collaboration.
A Broad Curriculum
The curriculum includes: Fundamentals of Acting, Improvisation, Hip-Hop, Tap, Musical Theatre, Color Guard, Jazz Choir, and many more. Interpersonal Communication, a general elective offered uncovers the tools needed to become future leaders.
