GAC Students Attend 6th Floor Museum Speaker Events

Global Student News

Members of the Global Advisory Council (GAC) recently attended two engaging speaker events hosted by The Sixth Floor Museum. The first explored the influence of the Kennedy era on women's fashion and how First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy helped shape style trends of the time.

The second event examined President John F. Kennedy’s 1962 trip to Mexico, taking a closer look at the role Catholicism played in the relationship between Mexico and the United States during the Kennedy presidency.

These experiences provided GAC students with valuable historical perspectives on the cultural and political impact of the Kennedy era.
