Congratulations to Jill Nugent ’94, co-author of The Educator’s Guide to Citizen Science, a new book to be published by Harvard Education Press. The book is currently available for pre-order and will be officially released on February 9, 2027.

The book helps educators incorporate citizen science into teaching and learning, providing strategies for engaging students in authentic scientific research and discovery. Reflecting on the project, Ms. Nugent shared, “It connects closely with my work today and with the lens used to explore our natural world and approach the world with curiosity that Ursuline Academy helped instill in me many years ago.”
