Students enrolled in a zero-hour class should review the following expectations:

1. Sign in during free periods following zero-hour classes.
   Students must sign in for a free period that immediately follows a zero-hour class. Because zero-hour schedules, especially quarter-semester courses, can vary, attendance cannot always be tracked automatically. Failure to sign in may result in an attendance infraction.
2. Sign in upon arrival if absent from a zero-hour class.
   Students who are absent from their zero-hour class must sign in on the attendance tablet when they arrive on campus. This expectation is the same as arriving after any other class period.
3. Permission is required to leave campus after zero hour.
   Students who need to leave campus after a zero-hour class and return later for the regular school day must have a parent email or SchoolPass entry on file. Since a zero-hour class marks the beginning of the school day, leaving campus afterward without permission is considered leaving school without authorization and will be treated accordingly.
