Macy Soderberg ’25 recently returned to Ursuline to speak with students in Brenda McGurgan’s Advanced Topics in Computer Science class before heading back to Cornell University for her sophomore year. 

Ms. Soderberg shared insights into studying Computer Science at the collegiate level, including her class schedules, projects, and college search process.She also reassured them that the skills and foundation she gained at Ursuline prepared her well for success in college.

Students were eager to hear about everything from programming tools and projects to how college exams stack up against those at Ursuline.

The visit was also a great example of the lasting connections Ursuline faculty build with their students long after Graduation. Ms. McGurgan has stayed in touch with Ms. Soderberg throughout her college journey, even visiting her at Cornell last year.
