The Running Bears kicked off the 2026 season on Friday at the Friday Night Hawk Invite, competing against a strong field of teams in the first meet of the year.

Varsity placed ninth in the Elite Division, led by Anna M. '27, who finished 40th overall with a time of 13:25. The JV team also earned a ninth-place finish, placing ninth out of 28 teams behind a strong performance from Gia N. '28, who took 23rd place with a time of 15:07.

The Running Bears return to competition this Saturday at the Greenhill Relays. Congratulations to all of our runners on a strong start to the season!
