Dear Ursuline Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!!

Below is information on AP Exam registration and exam policies.

If a student is in an AP Class at Ursuline

• Every student in an AP class at UA must join the College Board AP Classroom with their College Board account. AP teachers will provide students with the information needed to complete this step during the first week of classes in August. College Board requires all students in AP Class to join AP Classroom.
• When students join AP Classroom, they are automatically registered to take the AP exam. If a student chooses not to take the AP exam, they must email or Teams chat Mrs. Blankenship.
• The deadline to drop an exam without a fee is Wednesday, November 4.
• Students enrolled in a second semester AP class will receive registration information in December.

If a student is enrolled in an AP class through One School House

• Students will join AP Classroom through One School House. If they choose to take the exam, students will register for the exam with information provided by Ms. Bauer.
• The deadline to drop an exam without a fee is Wednesday November 4.

If a student is not enrolled in an AP Class

• Students should email or Teams chat Ms. Blankenship for registration instructions.
• The deadline to register for exams is Wednesday, September 30.

AP Exam Information for all students

• All students interested in taking an AP exam are encouraged to attend the optional AP Student Meeting on Wednesday, September 2 in the Duda Family Theatre at 10:00 a.m.
• AP exams are optional.
• All exams are administered in May on dates set by College Board.
• Exam fees are $99 per exam. (Cancellation and late registration fees apply).
• Families are billed through their My Backpack account in February.
• Deadline to register for exams is Wednesday, September 30.
• Deadline to drop an exam without a fee is Wednesday, November 4.

All students should log onto their College Board account as soon as possible, so they have time to handle any login or access issues. If a student is unable to log onto her account, she should contact College Board at 866-433-7728. If you do not have a College Board account, the instructions will guide you through the process of creating an account. Do not create a duplicate College Board account.

Students should regularly check the email associated with their College Board account for any information regarding AP exams.
