Cistercian Cheer Earns All-American Recognition and Top Team Honors at NCA Camp
The Cistercian Preparatory School Cheer team enjoyed a successful week at National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Summer Camp, held July 7-10, earning multiple team awards and individual recognitions while demonstrating outstanding spirit, technical excellence, and a commitment to safety.
Highlighting the week was the team's performance in the prestigious NCA All-American program, with six cheerleaders earning All-American honors. The NCA All-American distinction is one of the highest individual recognitions in cheerleading and is awarded to athletes who demonstrate exceptional cheerleading skills, leadership qualities, and strong character.
In addition to their competitive achievements, the squad earned the STAY SAFE Award, a special NCA honor presented to teams that demonstrate exceptional safety awareness, proper stunting progression, and smart risk management throughout camp. Cistercian Cheer was also awarded National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Credentialing, recognizing the team's completion of educational training focused on safety, leadership, and the responsibilities of spirit program participants.
The team also collected four Spirit Sticks and earned Superior evaluations in Band Chant, Situational Chant, and Game Day Cheer.

America Needs Cheerleaders "Pin It Forward" Pin
One of NCA's most meaningful traditions is the "Pin It Forward" program, which recognizes campers who exemplify leadership, positivity, kindness, and encouragement toward others throughout the week. Recipients are selected by NCA staff members for making a positive impact both on and off the mat.
