Alexa T. '27 participated in the Congressional Youth Advisory Summit for Representative Beth Van Duyne where she learned about the role of that congress and law enforcement play in local communities. She researched bills introduced by congress and drafted multiple position papers, including one focused on why congress should have passed the “No Pay for Congress During Default or Shutdown Act,” along with outlining ways to improve the bill.
