Ursuline Academy of Dallas has been named a 2025 Top Workplace by The Dallas Morning News, an honor that celebrates organizations across North Texas with exceptional workplace cultures and employee satisfaction.

This recognition is especially meaningful because it is based entirely on employee feedback collected through an anonymous survey conducted by The Dallas Morning News in partnership with Energage. Ursuline previously received this distinction in 2021.

In addition to being named a Top Workplace, Ursuline received one of 13 special recognition awards, which were described as the "Olympic gold medals” of the Top Workplaces. Ursuline was recognized for "Appreciation," earning the highest score of all participating organizations on the statement, "I feel genuinely appreciated by this company," underscoring Ursuline’s deep culture of care and gratitude.

As part of the nomination process, faculty and staff shared reflections on what makes Ursuline such a special place to work:

"I have the freedom to develop the necessary curriculum to help my students learn and be ready for the real world."

"My colleagues are not only incredibly supportive and personable but also bring humor and heart to everything they do."

Dr. Andrea Shurley, President of Ursuline Academy of Dallas, shared her gratitude for the recognition, saying, "This honor is a testament to our community’s shared commitment to caring for one another, for our students, and for the stewardship of our mission. I’m so proud to work alongside such dedicated and compassionate colleagues."

Faculty and staff were notified of the news on Friday, November 7, and celebrated together with "Top Workplace" cookies as a token of appreciation and community pride.
