Ursuline has a storied history, and preserving it is key.

Ursuline will join the Sixth Floor Museum, Dallas Holocaust Museum, Amon Carter Museum, SMU, University of North Texas, UT-Dallas, and the Fort Worth and Dallas Public Libraries at the DFW Archives Bazaar.

The inaugural event is Sunday, October 14 at the Dallas Heritage Village.

"This is the first-ever event of this kind in Dallas-Ft. Worth," said Ursuline Librarian Renee Chevallier. "We're thrilled to be a part of it. It's important to preserve the history and culture of communities in North Texas."

Chevallier said Ursuline's display will showcase student uniforms through the years and tell the story of how the signature plaid was designed and adopted.

"Our uniform is very iconic, and the story of how our plaid came to be is a story people like hearing," Chevallier said.

The DFW Archives Bazaar runs from 1:00-5:00 p.m. View more details.
