Ursuline Education Foundation

Many years ago, with much foresight and thoughtfulness, the Ursuline sisters recognized that as they were getting older and fewer women joining the order, they needed to transfer the sponsorship of the schools in their care to a group that would be equally invested in ensuring they remain Catholic and Ursuline. The Ursuline Education Foundation (UEF) was established to assume these responsibilities.

The UEF is the new governing body of all Central Province schools, including Ursuline Academy of Dallas, and will assume responsibility for assuring that these schools operate in accordance with Catholic teachings and the core values of the founding order. The UEF is a collaborative network of positions, each one with unique role and responsibilities, to ensure fidelity to the mission and identity of Ursuline schools. These roles include Sponsors Council, Canonical Stewards, Office of Mission and Identity, Board of Trustees, School Administrators, and Mission Integration Personnel. You can read more about these roles and their responsibilities in “Cultivating the Vine of Ursuline Education.”
