Ursuline and Notre Dame were all smiles Saturday morning.
More than 20 students from Notre Dame School learned the fundamentals of basketball during a special clinic in Ursuline's gym.
Ursuline basketball players performed different drills, and it didn't take long to notice how much fun clinic participants were having. This is Ursuline's second basketball clinic with Notre Dame.
"Our girls showed the true spirit of Serviam," Coach Nikki Nester said. "It was such a joy for our coaching staff to see our athletes having so much fun with each Notre Dame student."
Varsity players attended the clinic along with JV and Freshman players. Players also talked with camp participants at a breakfast before the clinic.
The partnership will only continue to grow. Softball will host its second kickball game with Notre Dame in the spring. Soccer will also host a clinic this year.
"These Notre Dame clinics will always be the highlight of my year," Director of Athletics Susan Noonan said. "I love seeing so many people smile."
