Ursuline Academy’s rowing team capped off a remarkable season with an impressive showing at the USRowing Youth National Championships, competing in one of the most competitive categories in the country. Racing against top scholastic and club programs from across the nation, the Bears delivered their strongest performances of the season and solidified their place among the nation’s elite.

The 1V8+ crew turned in a standout performance, finishing 8th in their final with a time of 7:25.93, their fastest time of the season. With this result, the Bears are now ranked as the 32nd fastest 1V8+ in the country and the 6th fastest scholastic 1V8+ program nationwide.

The 2V8+ crew delivered one of the most exciting races of the regatta, capturing 1st place in their final with a time of 7:26.37. In a thrilling finish, the Bears surged from third place to first in the final 500 meters, showcasing both grit and determination. Their performance earned them recognition as the 25th fastest 2V8+ in the country and the 4th fastest scholastic 2V8+ program nationwide.
