The Ursuline Academy of Dallas varsity soccer team has once again claimed the TAPPS 6A Division I State Championship, securing their third straight title with a 2-0 victory over St. Agnes. Senior Audrey Bryant '25 and Stella Weismueller '26 each scored to seal the win on Wednesday, March 5, at the Round Rock Sports Complex in Round Rock, TX.
The Bears (24-2-1) battled through a tough postseason, including a penalty kick victory over Bishop Lynch in the semifinals, winning 1(5)-1(4). Their dominant championship performance cements their legacy as a powerhouse in Texas high school soccer.
“I couldn’t be prouder of this team and the heart they showed all season,” said Varsity Head Coach Darrin Hedges. “Winning three straight state titles is no easy feat, but these girls played with grit, determination, and an unbreakable bond. Audrey and Stella’s goals were huge for us today, but this championship was won by every player who stepped on the field and every teammate who supported from the sidelines. This team is special, and they’ve left an incredible legacy for Ursuline soccer.”
