Golf Bears are State Champions

Congratulations to the golfers below who competed in the State Tournament on Monday, April 9, and Tuesday, April 10, along with their scores.

• Berkeley Bundy '24- 82, 77
  • (4th place over all, earning All-State Honors)
• Bella Scucchi '25- 86, 90
• Maggie Lohner '24- 96, 88
• Chloe Rice '25- 88, 105
• Carmina Prado '25- 82, 98

The Bears defeated Trinity Christian Academy by one stroke to become State Champions, and shot an overall score of 691. The Golfing Bears have won the last four Golf State Championships (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022), minus the 2020 COVID year, in which there was no championship played. 

This years team was led by a fantastic group of determined underclassman! They were featured in a Dallas Morning News article, "2022 TAPPS 6A, 5A, 4A state golf: Ursuline girls, TCA-Addison boys win 6A title."

Rowing Bears Qualify for Nationals!

The Ursuline Rowing team had a very successful weekend at Regionals in Oklahoma City. They brought home 3rd place in the varsity pair, 3rd place in the U17 eight, and 2nd place in the novice eight.

This is only the 2nd time in history that Ursuline has had a team qualify for Nationals. Boats moving on to Nationals are the varsity pair and the U17 eight. 

Congratulations and good luck to Anna Khal, Ruby Farley, Andrea Nunez, Christine Martin, Kate Jarret Dean, Evan McCauley, Ana Marroquin, Cora Mahaney, Caroline Rouche, Katie Crum, and Ava Bradley!

Nationals will take place on June 9-12, at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota Florida.
