2025-2026 Athletic Award Nominees

Ursuline invites you to join us on Wednesday, May 20 for the 2025–2026 Athletics Awards Ceremony as we celebrate the dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments of our student-athletes.

The evening will begin with a reception at 5:15 p.m., followed by the awards presentation at 6:00 p.m. in the Theatre.

As part of this celebration, this year’s nominees are recognized below and will also be introduced throughout the week on the Ursuline Athletics Instagram channel.

We encourage you to follow along as we highlight the individuals who have distinguished themselves during the 2025–2026 athletic season.

2025-2026 Athletic Award Nominees

President's Leadership Award

UA Athletics' most prestigious award and goes to the student athlete who demonstrates outstanding performance in their sport, is a leader both on their team and within the Ursuline community. Someone who excels academically and demonstrates a commitment to her faith and her sisters at Ursuline.

Individual Performance of The Year 

The Individual Performance of The Year Award goes to a Varsity member for an outstanding performance during their season.

  • Marit B. '28, Track. Set the TAPPS State Record for the 300mH.
  • Ella D. '28, Golf. Outstanding performance at the State Championship Tournament where she tied for 1st place.
  • Sienna R. '28, Soccer. PK performance vs district rival Bishop Lynch to keep UAVS undefeated in district play.

Newcomer of the Year

The Newcomer of the Year Award goes to a Freshman who has made significant contributions or achievements at the Varsity level.

Spirit of St. Angela

The Spirit of St. Angela Award is presented to a senior who models the spirit of St. Angela by demonstrating loyalty to her team and school, and being a woman of optimism, integrity, courage, and faith both on and off the field of play.
