If you visited the Ursuline campus this summer, you likely noticed a hum of excitement! Through June, July, and early August, over 1,000 students, athletes, and campers participated in UA+ (Ursuline Auxiliary Programs) activities!
Whether completing a credit course in Summer School, honing skills in Athletic Camps, playing and learning in Adventure Camps, preparing for the school year in a Workshop, or gaining experience in a Student Internship, Ursuline students and community members were busy all summer long!
By the Numbers
- Over 540 3-12 graders participated in seven weeks of Adventure and Athletic Camps, with over 1,100 registrations for almost 70 camps. Young campers were assisted by 44 Ursuline students serving as Adventure Camp Counselors.
- More than 440 Ursuline students participated in one or more of 14 in-person Summer School .5 credit courses offered over two summer sessions.
- 105 students participated in one or more of 10 one-week non-credit workshops with a focus on preparing students for a successful school year.
- Over 70 Ursuline Student Interns each earned 60 or more hours of real-world work experience with Dallas-area professionals.
- 23 Ursuline employees worked as Summer School Faculty and Camp Instructors.
