Logan has been highly involved in the Black-African Student Union and as a part of leadership during her senior year, she is one of the student facilitators and leaders in belonging spaces which are designed to foster belonging for underrepresented students and faculty, specifically Black and/or African American. Ai-Vy, currently serving as a leader in the Asian Student Union, has helped shaped the programming for our belonging spaces for Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander students and faculty.
Ai-Vy and Logan have led their peers in a variety of conversations including unity within our community, the importance of our culture, the impact of stereotypes, etc. Their work extends beyond our own community as both, Ai-Vy and Logan have they led conversations for larger groups of high school students. Most recently, their presentation and conversation centered allyship and included a group of about 60 students from other Independent Schools including Alcuin School, Bishop Lynch High School, The Hockaday School, St. Mark’s School of Texas, Jesuit Preparatory School of Dallas, Parish Episcopal School, and Greenhill School."
Ai-Vy and Logan have embodied the spirit of Serviam in their dedication to serving our community as C&I student leaders.
