Hear From Summer Camp Counselors!

Our student counselors played an essential role in making UA+ Summer Camps welcoming, creative, and fun. They supported instructors, guided campers, and built meaningful connections across the Ursuline community.

Gia N. ’28 reflected on her time assisting with Yoga Bears, Creative Explorers, Mixed Media, and Voice. Her favorite memories came from Creative Explorers, "where campers got to experiment with unusual supplies like bubbles and shaving cream to create colorful works of art. It was so fun to see the girls' reactions each day after they found out which projects we were going to do.”

Eva R. ’28 shared a similar joy in seeing creativity blossom. “I loved seeing how the kids used their own imagination to create something beautiful out of nothing," she exclaimed. "It was fun spending time with them and learning more about them.”

For Lucy C. ’27, the highlight of the summer was connecting her passion with the campers: “I loved helping the kids and the teachers put on an amazing performance. It helped me connect with the community through my love for the performing arts.”

What a fantastic summer! Thank you to all who participated, we already can't wait for next year.
