Megan Underwood '22 received her Girl Scouts Gold Award. She dedicated over 80 hours working with All Saints Catholic Church and Texas Discovery Gardens to develop a Sensory Garden for the All Saints Community.  

During the summer, she also formed Megan Underwood, LLC for her private label MUM Megan Underwood. Megan is a designer and importer of 100% Baby Alpaca and Vicuna Textiles from Peru. Through the Megan Underwood Trust, she will donate a portion of her proceeds to early childhood schools in Arequipa, Peru affected by COVID-19. It will be almost two years that kids in the lowest poverty level have not returned to school. MUM Megan Underwood is also her Shark Tank class project. Megan's company has been selected as an approved vendor at the Ursuline Academy Holiday Bazaar.

Caroline Syler '22 completed her Girl Scout Gold Award project. She presented a State Fair Fun Box to 50 children undergoing cancer treatment at Children's Hospital. The box was filled with State Fair items including, a coloring book, markers, crayons, ring toss game, midway prize, cowboy hat, bandana, cowboy boot mug, and a Big Tex souvenir plush toy. Caroline's story will be featured on Fox 4 News, "Hometown Hero," by Clarice Tinsley. 

Grace Guerra '23 and Rachel Trevino '23 volunteered at Metrocrest Services to fill hygiene bags for clients.

Isabella O'Brien '23 attended the Cambridge University academic summer session in the UK with students from around the world. Her field of study was Psychology where she worked on case studies. She also travelled to London and received the full experience of a study abroad.

Amelia Mappus '24 is the lead role of Gerda in the Studio III Dance studio's biennial showcase of the Snow Queen Ballet. The show will take place at the Eisemann Center in Richardson on November 13, and November 14. The ballet, based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale of the same name, tells the story of undying friendship between childhood friends through beautiful dance and costumes.
