This year, Mardi Gras has been reinvented once again due to the ongoing pandemic. After surveying our supporters, we decided to give an “a la carte” menu including a community event, Patron party, party packages, and a virtual online auction.
- Le Festival (Community Event): Saturday, January 29, from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m., at Ursuline Academy of Dallas, Haggar Center. Tickets on sale now.
- La Fête Royal (Patron Party): Friday, February 25, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., at Old Parkland Campus.
- La Fête à la Maison (Party Packages): Saturday, February 26. Party Packages delivered to your home.
- Virtual Auction: Opens 7:00 a.m. on February 20, 2022 and closes 10:00 p.m. on February 26, 2022.
What are you most excited for?
We are most excited for the community to gather and celebrate at our first event on January 29. This party will kick-off our efforts to bring support to fund scholarships for deserving Ursuline students. Our hope is to keep the anticipation going all the way through February 26, for the online auction. We hope everyone will find a way to support scholarships through our different options!
Why is this event special to you?
We are so excited to gather together with the common goal to raise funds to support scholarships. It’s also very special to us since we both have daughters currently attending Ursuline and we are honored to be able to give back so that many other young ladies can share that same education and experience.
What's new this year?
We are excited to offer Le Festival, our full community event on January 29, on campus in the new and improved Fox Dining Hall in Haggar Center! La Fête Royale on February 25, will also be a new and intimate gathering to thank our most generous supporters. This event will feature food, entertainment, and be a time to express our gratitude.
Last year, we learned how far our reach is for bidders, so this year we will again offer an online virtual auction which is very exciting. We had bidders across the country last year! Our new platform for online bidding, GiveSmart, makes the experience super user friendly.
The online auction will run the week of February 20. On February 26, the day it closes, we will be offering party packages to be delivered right to your door. This will give our community the opportunity to gather in smaller groups while bidding together on our awesome packages of La Fête's Finest as well as many wonderful silent auction items.
