“Masquerade” - Mardi Gras Gala 2020

Ursuline Academy’s 2020 Mardi Gras “Masquerade” will be held this Saturday, February 22, at the Fairmont Hotel Dallas. This year marks the 30^th anniversary of the annual celebration and premier scholarship fundraising event for Ursuline Academy of Dallas. Ursuline is grateful to the many volunteers, underwriters and sponsors whose generous support makes this event possible.

Honorary Chairs for the 2020 Gala are The Haggar Family - Marian Haggar Bryan ’72, Vicki Vaughan Miller ’75, Lydia Haggar Novakov ’68, Marty Vaughan Rumble ’74, Mary Alice Haggar Stedillie, Patty Jo Haggar Turner ’63, and Mary Lynn Vaughan ’73.  Event Co-Chairs are Jody Dodson, Tiffany Luedtke, and Gina Porter.

To make reservations, contact the Ursuline Academy Mardi Gras Office at (214) 389-2675. Individual tickets are $200 each. Those who are unable to attend may register and bid for items from any location. The auction is open online through Saturday, February 22, at 10:00 p.m. Register to bid.

Ursuline’s Mardi Gras Gala is an essential source of funding for financial need-based scholarships for young women in grades 9-12 who attend the Academy. For the 2019-2020 school year, Ursuline granted approximately $1,479,000 in financial assistance to approximately 26% of the student body as a result of endowment earnings and net proceeds from Mardi Gras events.
