Hailey Jones '21 completed her Gold Scout Gold Award! She brought attention to the diagnosis of failure to thrive among infants in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) and created virtual seminars and videos which are accessible through Youtube.

During her fundraising campaign, Hailey taught virtual cooking classes featuring dog-themed cupcakes. Her efforts provided enough funds to obtain the needed supplies to sew over 200 loveys and small cuddle cloths, which she donated to Texas Health Plano. These loveys will help aid in parent child bonding during long hospital stays among preemies in the NICU. Finally, as an ongoing sustainability project, Hailey has partnered with Texas Health Plano to donate loveys annually to their NICU.

Grace Olden '21 is one of the first females to earn her Eagle Scout. She created fine motor skills activities for Notre Dame Dallas primary students and sewed aprons for their teachers.

Olivia Pujats '21 had a piece selected to be included in the National Art Honor Society Juried Exhibition. The piece is titled, Change of Pace. It was selected as one of 93 works chosen out of 1,187 submissions. The virtual exhibit will open on January 11, 2021. View.

Hannah Singer '23, is on the Visiting Nurse Association Teen Board. She wrote an essay to be featured on the VNA blog, "Empathy and Compassion: Virtual Deliveries During a Pandemic." Read.
