The 2020-2021 Intramurals competition may have looked a little different, but the spirit and excitement of this incredible tradition remained.
With pots, pans, drum sets, noisemakers, and more, classes got innovative on how to be as loud as possible without using their voices to celebrate spirit. Their creativity continued to shine through into their amazing murals, hall decorations, and videos, while the volleyball tournament portrayed each class's athletic strength.
The Intramurals service project was also a resounding success. Ursuline hosted a baby supplies drive for two local organizations, In My Shoes and Mater Filius.
Students collected diapers, prenatal vitamins, onesies, baby socks, baby hats, baby wash/shampoo, baby lotion, and blankets to donate to these organizations and support pregnant women in need.
"The girls were so happy with the items donated, they could not believe it!" said Magdalena Vega of Mater Filius.
"I was blown away by the Serviam spirit in our students this year! They went above and beyond the goal we set for each class," said Dean of Students Kayla Brown. "Even though Intramurals looked a little different this year, the one thing that did not change was the servant leadership I see in our girls every single day!"
