Ursuline News

From the Desk of Catherine Baetz Maurer '98

Dear Ursuline Families,

As Ursuline's Chief Development Officer, it is a privilege for me to serve in a role that perpetuates the spirit of Serviam by creating opportunities for families to be involved in campus life. While campus life looks very different this year, your desire to be engaged, involved, and supportive of the school has not wavered one bit! Ursuline is strengthened by this caring community and your contributions of time, wisdom, and financial resources – all of which make possible the Ursuline experience for your daughters and future generations of students.

Today marks an historic milestone for our school, as we launch The Campaign for Ursuline: Act, Move, Believe. The campaign will provide the funding needed to transform the Ursuline campus, support programs and operations, and grow our endowment. This $85M comprehensive campaign will enhance all aspects of teaching and learning, and we are thrilled to share the vision with you.

This pivotal moment results directly from the accumulated efforts of many, many community members who have helped to shape Ursuline’s educational vision, guided our campaign and campus planning processes, and generously contributed gifts during the quiet phase of this endeavor. Responses to the plan have been overwhelmingly positive, and we are pleased to announce that early contributions total more than $55M!

I am inspired and humbled by this community’s love for Ursuline and its mission. Additionally, I am deeply grateful for all you do to contribute to the vibrant community that surrounds and supports our students. Thank you in advance for considering how you might participate in this campaign effort. The journey that we embark upon today will have a lasting impact for Ursuline students, and I am excited to partner with you and your families along the way.

Thank you!
