CSPA 2025 Crown Awards
Esse 2024 was recognized as a 2025 Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) Crown Award Finalist in the "High School Print Literary Magazine" category! All finalists will receive either a Gold or Silver Crown in March 2025.
Crown Awards are the highest recognition given by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association to a student print or digital medium for overall excellence.
About Esse 2024
This is the 58th edition issue of the award-winning magazine and features diverse work from Ursuline students, including poetry, short stories, plays, photography, and paintings.
The works follow the theme of "Movement." It was produced by the Ursuline Literary-Art Magazine Club, which was led by Editor-in-Chief Mary Borkowski '24 and Art Editor Mary Atwell '24. George Nicolas Rodriguez, UA English Faculty, and Jocelyn Holmes, Visual Arts Department Chair.
