A Letter From the Principal

Dear Ursuline Families,

Ursuline’s Class of 2023 graduated in a picture-perfect ceremony this past Sunday. These young women have left their legacy at Ursuline and will now move to the next phase of their beautiful lives. I can speak for everyone here when I say that we are proud of each graduate, we are confident in them, and we know that they are moving out into the bigger world ready and prepared. Class of 2023 – you will always be in our hearts and in our prayers!

The day after graduation, the high school cycle moved forward as Ursuline welcomed incoming freshmen and their families to pick up their laptops, get their fob photos taken, and shop at Bear Necessities.

Our students are now taking their finals, and the hallways are growing quieter. As I tell any student who may be looking nervous before an exam, they know more than they may think they do – they are ready.

This year has been a good one. We will be busy here this summer with summer classes and UA+ programming, and we will all be working in our own ways to get ready to start again in August. It is one of the biggest sources of grace that we have a chance every twelve months to do something better or different. I love that we can be in a moment, a ceremony, or an event, and know that if there was even a small detail that could have gone better, we have the chance to try again. Not many areas of our lives allow for this!

I am filled with deep gratitude for our students, families, faculty, staff, and administrators who work tirelessly for the sake of our Ursuline mission. We are truly blessed!

Wishing you a happy and restful summer,

Dr. Andrea Shurley
Principal
