Faculty and staff gathered to celebrate the close of another successful school year at the annual End-of-Year Luncheon. The event honored the dedication and accomplishments of the Ursuline community through special recognitions, including the Teacher of the Year Award and the Hal and Joann Tehan Award, while also celebrating retiring faculty and staff members and recognizing employees marking milestone years of service.

Congratulations to Dr. Corby Baxter, English Teacher, Director of Professional Learning, and English Department Chair, recipient of the Tehan Award. Described by colleagues and students as a calming, compassionate presence, Dr. Baxter was recognized for creating spaces where students feel heard, supported, and encouraged. Whether tutoring students in Cass Hall, guiding meaningful conversations, or simply making time for others, Dr. Baxter exemplifies the spirit of a peacemaker and servant leader.

Congratulations also to Rachel Davies '07, English Teacher, named Teacher of the Year. Celebrated for her extraordinary dedication to students, innovative teaching, and ability to inspire both students and colleagues alike, Ms. Davies challenges students to think deeply, write thoughtfully, and grow confidently. Her commitment to meaningful relationships and authentic learning leaves a lasting impact far beyond the classroom.
