We chose to give to the endowed scholarship fund in our parents’ name because we believe in Catholic education. Because of our parents, we were fortunate to have the opportunity and experience of a Catholic education. Through our gift and on behalf of our parents, we wanted to provide the opportunity of an Ursuline education and experience for generations to come.

Establishing an Endowment
A named endowment may be established with a minimum contribution of $50,000 and would formally establish a family legacy at Ursuline that would benefit the school in perpetuity. Your contribution (when realized) would be invested and generate an annual distribution, which could be directed to the program of your choice. Distributions are determined by the Board of Trustees for the Ursuline Academy of Dallas Foundation, Inc, and generally range between 4% and 5% annually. Ursuline provides annual updates about the financial state and impact of endowments to those who established them and to their families. These communications provide an incredible opportunity to keep future generations of your family engaged with the organizations that are of most importance to you.
Endowments are managed by the Ursuline Academy of Dallas Foundation, Inc. A formal investment policy ensures both growth and expenditures, with investment earnings distributed annually in perpetuity.
