Community Workshops provide space and time for exploration, deep dives, and passion projects. Think of it as a "mini camp" just for Ursuline students, current parents, alumnae, parents of alumnae, and employees. Space is limited!


Spring 2024 Workshops

Intro to 3D Printing

Have you ever wondered how 3D printing works and what you can create with it? Learn the basics of 3D printing, from designing models to printing them, and.explore different types of 3D printers, materials, and applications. Veteran Computer Science teacher Michael Alves will help you understand the principles and processes of 3D printing, including online resources, CAD modeling, and choosing the best 3D printer for your needs. In each class you'll practice preparing your 3D models for printing, operating and maintain a 3D printer, and troubleshooting. This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in learning about 3D printing. No prior experience or knowledge is required and you do not need a 3D printer of your own.

Dates & Times: Tuesdays from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. on March 19, March 26, April 9, April 16, April 23, and April 30
Fee, including all supplies: $135
