PRESIDENT'S LETTER 2021-2022

ACT, MOVE, BELIEVE

Thank you for your partnership!

As we begin the final year of The Campaign for Ursuline, Act, Move, Believe, we celebrate the remarkable loyalty, encouragement, and support received to date from so many. I am enormously grateful for your belief in Ursuline, your commitment to the mission, and your faith in the unlimited potential of the young women who graduate from this extraordinary educational apostolate to serve our community and our world.

Truly, it is your countless volunteer hours, advocacy, and generosity in giving that makes all that we do possible. Over the past year, your enthusiastic support has enabled Ursuline to launch the new East Campus with 90,000 square feet of new, technology-rich, collaborative learning spaces. A magnificent new theater was unveiled in the Spring. Other new physical spaces will be completed this year, including a practice gym, weight room, and new chapel.

Your generous contributions to The Ursuline Fund have ensured excellence in programming and operations throughout the year, impacting every student’s experience. Your gifts for scholarship support have expanded access to Ursuline education for deserving students. Our Catholic faith and Ursuline values are foundational to community and inclusion at Ursuline, reflecting the spirituality of St. Angela as one of hospitality, community, and belonging.

Our commitment to the full development of every girl runs deep at Ursuline, through programs that embrace the cherished and timeless core values of an Ursuline education. Each new investment in technology, professional learning, and campus improvement benefits student success, today and tomorrow.

We will continue to explore and implement student-centered innovations in curriculum and instruction, where every girl’s program is unique. Our focus on student well-being remains a priority in shaping every aspect of the student experience.

We also look ahead to the 2023-2024 school year, when Ursuline Academy will celebrate its sesquicentennial, marking 150 years of educating young women in Dallas. The Academy’s remarkable growth and success over the decades would not have been possible without a highly engaged community of students, families, alumnae, employees, and friends.

Your continued partnership is invaluable and will remain essential to the future of Ursuline Academy in Dallas. Thank you again for your sustaining support!

Yours in Christ,

Gretchen Z. Kane
President
