The 2018 Montana Mission Trip was a memorable one.
Ursuline alumnae, employees, and current students participated in this week-long Mission and Heritage week, "Where Angela Has Led Us" in Great Falls, Montana over the summer.
Irene Swaim Ryan '69, and her husband Allan, Valerie Wijeweera '17, Mackenzie Marsaw '20, and Marcela Toscano '21 joined Director of Mission and Heritage Sister Lois Castillon, O.S.U., Librarian Renee Chevallier, Nurse Susie Murray, and Assistant Librarian Montana Rindahl.
The group stayed at the Ursuline Retreat and Conference Centre, a historic registry site. Their full schedule included activities such as historic presentations, service outreach, learning about the Blackfeet and Crow tribes, field trips, and Ursuline mission visits. They also went on an excursion to the Hutterite colony and explored some of the Lewis and Clark territory.
All came back feeling refreshed. "It was the best week!" exclaimed Valerie.
