I was a founding member of the Science Fiction Club (which began when I was a junior, 1995-1996, mentored by English teacher Mr. Frank Bauroth). It really helped me find "my people" at Ursuline, in the days before everyone was into Star Wars and the like.

I started going to comic conventions and the Renaissance Fair with this group: things that are still part of my social life and personality many years later! I am also still friends with several of the Sci Fi Club members. This group was a great part of my time at UA, and I'm thrilled to see that the group still exists, 25+ years later!
