The Eighth Grade Visit program is offered to eighth grade prospective students during the fall semester that they are applying to high school. During this more personalized program, students will learn about the admissions process, take part in an Ursuline student panel, tour campus, observe classes, join us for lunch, and more.

We offer three program types:

• A School-Specific visit - Connect with your middle school for potential dates and sign up through your school. 
• An Open visit - If your school does not have a school-specific program, please plan to join us for an Open Visit on Tuesday, December 10 from 9:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
  Registration has closed for this event.
• A Transfer Student visit for girls applying for 10th or 11th grade. The 2024 event took place on October 17.

We understand that the above programs may not be an option for every family, especially those who do not live in the Dallas area. If you and your child(ren) are unable to attend our standard Admissions Events, we invite you to join us for an in-person campus tour.

An Ursuline student ambassador will serve as your tour guide and expose you to our curriculum, global programming, student life, service offerings, athletic opportunities, and more. Asking questions is encouraged!

In-person tours are open to families (parents and children) of students in grade levels 8-10. Each tour is approximately one hour.

• Friday, January 17, 2025, 9:30 a.m. or 2:15 p.m. These tours are at capacity.  
• Friday, February 7, 2025, 9:30 a.m. or 2:15 p.m. These tours are at capacity.

If the time you've selected is closed/full, please email admissions@ursulinedallas.org to be added to a wait list.

Students must be accompanied by an adult. Please also refrain from bringing anyone other than those registered (no siblings, extended family, or friends).

Students are encouraged to dress nicely and comfortably! Their current school dress code guidelines and/or their school uniform (if applicable) is acceptable as well.

Our signature Admissions program each year is Admission Showcase. Formerly called "Open House," this fun and informative event is a great way to learn about Ursuline from students and teachers, while exploring our beautiful campus!

The 2024 event was on Saturday, November 16.

This event is for registered applicants and their parents only. Unfortunately, additional siblings are not permitted to attend.

Meet the Administrators Coffee is an opportunity for prospective parents to hear from our President, Principal, Dean of Academics, Dean of Students, and Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management about the mission and core values of Ursuline Academy. You'll receive more detailed information about the application process, tour campus, meet Ursuline students, and have plenty of time to ask questions. 

This year's Meet the Administrators Coffees have completed. Please fill out an Inquiry form to stay in the loop for the 2025-2026 Admissions Season.

Ursuline does not offer a traditional shadow day program. Out of respect for our peer institutions, we limit the time prospective students miss school to explore potential high schools.

By attending one of the above programs, students observe and interact with current students and faculty, as well as experience daily life at UA through the Ambassador-led tour and lunch in Fox Dining Hall.
