FROM THE DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONs
Greetings From Ursuline Academy!
Take this moment to envision your daughter’s next four years on her education journey. What kind of campus do you see? Who will be the new friends she meets? Most importantly, what will she learn?
As you imagine your daughter’s future, many of you might be feeling that bittersweet pull from the past because it seems like just yesterday you were exploring pre-schools or kindergartens and now here you are with high school on the horizon. But, be comforted, now is the time to get excited!! High school is an unforgettable time in your daughter’s life; it is a time for her to pursue academic curiosity, develop emotionally, and engage socially. At Ursuline Academy of Dallas, we believe it is also a time to be empowered – to learn, to thrive and to serve.
We are the only independent, college preparatory Catholic high school for young women in Dallas whose mission is committed to the total development of the individual student through spiritual formation, intellectual growth, service to others and building community. For 150 years, Ursuline has defined and refined the very essence of all-girls education. Our students are inspired by world-class teachers, innovative and technology-rich learning environments, unique global experiences, and cherished traditions. They are scholarly, conscientious, balanced, and prepared to lead in our evolving world.
I cannot wait for you and your daughter to explore Ursuline! Eighth grade visits, Parent Coffees with Administrators, and Open House are all just around the corner. I encourage you to visit our campus, peruse the beautifully updated, state-of-the-art facilities, and engage with our welcoming and nurturing community.
For the next four years, your daughter needs a place where she can learn, grow, and prepare for her future, all while becoming the best version of herself. There’s no better place than Ursuline Academy where she will be a part of a community of learners whose love for humanity is at the forefront of all that we do. Have a healthy, wonderful year. I look forward to meeting you and your daughter soon!
