FROM THE DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONs
Greetings From Ursuline Academy!

As you begin to imagine your daughter’s next four years, picture the campus where she will learn and grow. Who will be the new friends she meets? Which teachers will spark her curiosity? Most importantly, how will she discover her gifts and passions?
For many of you, this moment is both exciting and a little bittersweet. It may feel like just yesterday you were choosing a preschool or kindergarten, and now high school is on the horizon. Take heart: this is the beginning of an extraordinary chapter.
For me, Ursuline has always been more than a school – it’s home. As an alumna from the Class of 1999, I know firsthand how formative and life-giving these years can be. In my own freshman year, struggling to find my place after relocating from Canada, Sister Margaret Ann Moser, OSU, invited my family and me to meet with her. She said four simple words that have guided me ever since: “It’s in God’s hands.” That phrase is also the heart of how we welcome new students and families – rooted in trust, compassion, and God’s plan for each young woman.
I’m delighted you and your daughter will have the opportunity to explore what makes Ursuline so remarkable. As you thoughtfully consider the path your daughter may walk over the next four years, take advantage of our robust and intentional programming, like prospective student visit days, parent coffees with administrators, and our Admission Showcase, where you and she can discover the possibilities that await. I encourage you to walk our campus, experience our beautiful state-of-the-art facilities, and meet the extraordinary people who make this community so special.
For the next four years, your daughter deserves a place where she can learn, grow, and be challenged to become the best version of herself – mind, body, and spirit. Ursuline Academy offers just that, in a community where the love of God and neighbor inspires all that we do. As you begin this process, I hope you feel the same peace Sister Margaret Ann gave me so many years ago, knowing and trusting that it is in God’s hands.
Best regards,

Jessica Bailey
