Application Process

Ursuline Academy requires FIVE KEY PIECES of information from every applicant:


Due January 7, 2022

The online application and $100 application fee for the 2021-2022 school year are due January 7, 2022. The application includes Biographical Information, Candidate Questionnaire, and Parent Statement. All applications must be submitted online through Ravenna, our web-based application system.

Due January 14, 2021

Transcripts must include completed first semester grades of the application year as well as grades from the previous two years. Conduct and attendance history are also reviewed. A Transcript Request Form is available to print during the online application process through Ravenna. Please fill out and give the form to the applicant's current school. 


Due January 14, 2021

Three letters of recommendation are required. These should come from a Mathematics teacher, English teacher, and a character reference from any source. Recommendation forms can be found and are submitted through Ravenna.

Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE)

Take Exam by February 1, 2022

ISEE testing is offered at various Dallas-area schools. Applicants must take the ISEE by February 1, 2022. The Dallas Catholic High Schools will accept scores only from the Winter or Spring testing dates of a student’s 8th grade year. Scores prior to December of a student's 8th grade year for application to 9th grade won't be considered. Ursuline Academy will not super score and once test results have been received, all test scores will be included in the student’s application and may not be retracted. Personal Interview

Admission Interviews will be conducted in January 2022

After submitting your Biographical Information, Candidate Questionnaire, Parent Statement, and Application Fee, your daughter can prepare for her Admission Interview.

Interviews are 15 minutes in length, for student applicants only. Interviews will take place January 22, and January 29, 2022

Admissions decisions for incoming freshmen, transfer students, and financial awards (if applicable), will be emailed March 11, 2021. Enrollment Agreements are due March 25, 2021.

Admissions Policy

Ursuline Academy of Dallas is a Roman Catholic school. The Academy seeks a diverse student community and admits qualified students without regard to race, color, or national or ethnic origin.

Acceptance of students is subject to the criteria set forth and to the Academy’s ability to accommodate the number of students who meet its admission standards.

The Ursuline Academy of Dallas admission process is selective based on a comprehensive and qualitative consideration of each applicant.

Each applicant evaluation is based on academic transcript, teacher recommendations, entrance test scores and essay, written application including parent statement, and personal interview.
