Recommendations from current Mathematics and English teachers are required, and an optional additional personal recommendation may be submitted. Teacher Recommendations and the Optional Recommendation are delegated by the applicant through Ravenna.
Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE)
Take Exam by February 1, 2020
ISEE testing is offered at various area high school locations, including Ursuline Academy. Applicants must take the ISEE by February 1, 2020. The Dallas Catholic High Schools will accept scores only from the Winter or Spring testing dates of a student’s 8th grade year. Scores prior to December of a student's 8th grade year for application to 9th grade won't be considered. Ursuline Academy will not super score and once test results have been received, all test scores will be included in the student’s application and may not be retracted. The Ursuline Academy of Dallas school code is 441825 for test site and score reporting. For more information, visit ISEE online or contact the Ursuline Admissions Office.
Interview Dates are January 18 or January 25, 2020
Once all three pieces of the online application (Biographical Information, Candidate Questionnaire, and Parent Statement) have been submitted through Ravenna, the student will be prompted to schedule a ten-minute personal interview on either January 18 or January 25, 2020, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
Each applicant will receive an email in February indicating the status of her application. If additional information is needed, your Ravenna account will specify what is required to complete the application.
Admissions decisions for incoming freshmen and transfer students, and financial awards (if applicable), will be emailed March 13, 2020.
“My favorite thing about Ursuline is the friends I’ve made here. I was welcomed into the community immediately, and I still experience the sisterhood with my friends every day.”
