Ursuline Academy requires FIVE KEY PIECES of information from every applicant:
Due January 5, 2018
The online application and $100 application fee for the 2018-19 school year are due January 5, 2018. The application includes the Application for Admission, Candidate Questionnaire, and Parent Statement. All applications must be submitted online through Ravenna, our web-based application system.
Due January 19, 2018
Transcripts must include completed first semester grades of the application year as well as grades from the previous year. Conduct and attendance history are also reviewed. A Transcript Request Form is available to print during the online application process through Ravenna. Please fill out and give the form to the applicant's current school.
Due January 19, 2018
Recommendations from current Mathematics and English teachers are required, and an optional additional personal recommendation may be submitted. Teacher Recommendations and the Optional Recommendation are delegated by the applicant through Ravenna.
Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE)
Take Exam by February 1, 2018
ISEE testing is offered at various area high school locations, including Ursuline Academy on January 6, 2018. Applicants must take the ISEE by February 1, 2018. With the recent ISEE change, allowing students to take the exam up to three times in a twelve month admission cycle, Ursuline will accept all scores for consideration of admission. Ursuline Academy will not super score and once test results have been received, all test scores will be included in the student’s application and may not be retracted. The Ursuline Academy of Dallas school code is 441825 for test site and score reporting. For more information, visit ISEE online or contact the Ursuline Admissions Office.
Interview Dates are January 20 or January 27, 2018
Once all three pieces of the online application (Application for Admission, Candidate Questionnaire, and Parent Statement) have been submitted through Ravenna, the student will be prompted to schedule a ten-minute personal interview on either January 20 or January 27, 2018, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
Each applicant will receive an email in February indicating the status of her application. If additional information is needed, your Ravenna account will specify what is required to complete the application.
Admissions decisions for incoming freshmen and transfer students will be emailed March 9, 2018.
Decisions on transfer student applications are typically made after Ursuline's re-enrollment process is complete, however applicants should still expect to receive a letter in March with an update on the status of their application.
For your information, possible Ursuline Admission Decisions include: accept, accept with completion of one or both Frosh Start classes, wait pool, and do not accept. Click this link for more information about Ursuline’s Frosh Start Program.
“My favorite thing about Ursuline is the friends I’ve made here. I was welcomed into the community immediately, and I still experience the sisterhood with my friends every day.”
