Now entering its 19th year, the Ursuline Mardi Gras Ball is the primary source of funding for student scholarships. Mardi Gras endowed gifts also benefit both Student Scholarships and Faculty Endowment. In 2007-08, the Academy granted approximately $858,000 in financial assistance and merit awards to 172 deserving young women, about 21% of the student body.

The Mardi Gras Ball is a celebration for the entire Ursuline community! Hundreds of parents, alumnae, parents of alumnae and friends gather for a glittering evening of food, fun and festivities including live and silent auctions, casino, and car raffle. There are many ways you can be a part of this worthy event.

Ursuline and its students are very grateful to the dedicated volunteer leaders and the 200+ hardworking Mardi Gras Ball committee members who make it all possible.
