Academic Administrative Assistant
The Academic Administrative Assistant primarily supports the Dean of Academics and provides additional support to other members of the school administration as directed.
The Academic Administrative Assistant reports to the Dean of Academics who, in turn, reports to the Principal of the Academy.
Athletic Director (Starting July 2017)
Founded in 1874, Ursuline Academy of Dallas is an independent Catholic college preparatory school for young women sponsored by the Ursuline Sisters. Ursuline seeks a qualified and experienced Athletic Director to lead the School’s athletics program beginning in July 2017. The Athletic Director is a member of Ursuline Academy’s School Administration Team and is responsible for the administration and supervision of the interscholastic athletic program in accordance with the school’s Mission and for providing the leadership necessary for the day-to-day operation of the department.
Teacher - Chemistry
Ursuline Academy of Dallas is seeking a full time Chemistry teacher for five sections of Chemistry I.
A Bachelor’s degree and experience in the high school science classroom is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Ursuline supports the student based inquiry method, Modeling. Candidates must be willing to learn the Modeling method in teaching chemistry, with required attendance at a summer workshop.
In addition to classroom responsibilities, the teacher is expected to serve as a grade-level advisor, actively participate in non-academic student activities, and pursue professional development opportunities.

Teacher – Computer Science
Computer Science position at Ursuline Academy – beginning August of 2016
Ursuline Academy of Dallas, Texas, an independent, Catholic high school for girls, has an opening for a Computer Science teacher.
Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Math, and strong candidates will have a Master’s degree and successful teaching experience.
Experience with object oriented design to facilitate teaching Java is critical.
Experience with drag-and-drop programming languages, including Scratch and App Inventor, is desired.
Candidate will also be required to complete two weeks of training during the summer.
Teachers at Ursuline serve as advisors for a designated group of students.
Teacher - English
The Ursuline Academy of Dallas seeks an experienced English educator beginning in August 2016 who is interested in developing the literary minds and writing potential of young women in a 21st century learning environment.
Responsibilities could include teaching courses focusing on “The Hero’s Journey” and/or “The Female Voice,” while including how the world influences not only our own point of view but also that of the author.
In addition to classroom responsibilities, the teacher is expected to serve as a grade-level advisor, actively participate in non-academic student activities such as moderating clubs, chaperoning students & student supervision and enthusiastically pursue professional development opportunities.
