Graduation 2017: Livestreaming with Student Crew

Ursuline's Graduation will be live — with the help of a student crew.

Elizabeth Brannon (junior), Mary Alice Perkins (junior), Mallory Rasco (junior), Emma Hooper (sophomore), Emily Land (sophomore), and Kaitlyn Soo (sophomore) will help Performing Arts Teacher James Gregory livestream the beautiful event on Sunday, May 28.

The six-person student crew will be busy. The students will set up the PA system and operate the two-camera shoot.

"It's wonderful the school makes this beautiful tradition available to the graduate's friends and family across the globe," Gregory said. "Everyone has an opportunity to share the emotion of the event despite their location."

This is Ursuline's second time livestreaming Graduation. Graduation generated more than 1,100 views last year. Ursuline has also livestreamed sporting events, Freshman Convocation, and Intramurals.

"The students really love making this livestream happen for their peers," Gregory said. "It is another way the school displays it's strong sense of community and Serviam."

You will be able to view Graduation on smartphones, tablets, or home devices. View the ceremony by going to Ursuline's live-streaming page and clicking the Watch Live button.

The events Ursuline chooses to livestream will be archived on our live-streaming page, so viewing and reviewing can be done with ease.
