Esse's 51st edition, Esse 2017, is now available online.
This issue of the award-winning magazine features a diverse set of work from Ursuline students, including poetry, short stories, plays, photography, a song, and paintings.
The works follow the theme of "Memory." Esse 2017 was produced by the Ursuline Literary-Art Magazine Club, which was led by Editor-in-Chief Hannah Ni'Shuilleabhain '17 and Art Editor Miranda Walker '17. Monica Prachyl Cochran '71 and Megan Schott moderated the club.
The magazine was dedicated to Sybil Emmett Tucker '51, who recently retired after 35 years at Ursuline. Sybil became Ursuline's archivist after serving as alumnae director for 23 years.
