 | In Memoriam: Father Jack Deeves, S.J. Ursuline's beloved Chaplain, Father Jack Deeves, S.J. passed away on Saturday morning, October 16, 2010.
Visitation and the Mass of Christian Burial took place on Thursday, October 21 at St. Rita Parish. Interment was on Friday, October 22 in the Jesuit Cemetery in Grand Couteau, Louisiana. Ursuline students, parents, alumnae, and friends honored Fr. Deeves at a Memorial Mass & Reception on November 23.
He began teaching at Ursuline in 1993, chairing the Science Department as a physics teacher and later teaching theology. He served as chaplain until his death.
